1. Dzukou Valley.
    The amazing mother nature given valley, Dzukou Valley is located at the border of Nagaland and Manipur states. The valley is famous for its wide range of flower in every season, but the most famous one is the dzuko lily. Viswema village and Jakhma village both in Kohima are the two ways of reaching the valley, the route from the former village is about 17 km and takes longer and less challenging. The latter route is more challenging but gets to reach faster. There is no road transport so you have to walk up the hills, but its worth it when you reach your destination your stress will be all gone by the beauty of the valley.

2. Shilloi Lake.
    The largest natural lake in Nagaland which is situated in Lutsam village of Phokhungri area under Meluri sub-division in Phek district. Shilloi Lake is rich for fishing in season and the beautiful pine trees surrounding it, view from the top makes it appear like the shape of a human footprint. The lake makes it for a pleasant day just to relax and appreciating the natural beauty of the lake.

3. Saramati Peak.    The Saramati peak, with a height of 3840 metres above the sea level located under Pungro sub-division in Kiphire district is the highest peak in Nagaland. The mountain is popular for the panoramic views of the surrounding ranges and the mountain climbing experiences even for the amateurs. The best time for visiting Saramati and feeling the real pleasure of trekking is in the month of October and November.

4. Doyang River.
    Doyang river is one of the most important rivers in the Wokha district. It is the biggest and longest rivers which run near the state's southern boundary. The modern system of cultivation like terrace is being carried out successfully along the Doyang river. Besides that vegetables, and fruits such as banana, pineapple, papaya etc. are luxuriantly found in the areas.

5. Mon.
    The following villages and place of attraction in Mon district is the home of the Konyak Nagas and it is fascinating  to see their cultures, artisans and skilled craftsmen. Here are some places you can visit in Mon - Shangnyu village, Chui village, Longwa village, Veda peak and Naganimora.

6. Mokokchung.
    Mokokchung considered the cultural and intellectual capital of Nagaland, is one of the most important districts in the state. Picturesque hills and the musical sounds of the streams running mesmerise you. 7. Dimapur.
    Dimapur serves as the main entry point into Nagaland. This is also the commercial centre of the state. While nature lovers are enthralled by the scenic landscape of the place, history lovers are attracted to the 10th century Kachari ruins found here.
