One Plus 3 which was unveiled in June 2016, it is the first OnePlus device to not be part of the invite system, which OnePlus had used for its last three devices. The OnePlus 3 features a new metal back design, with anodised aluminium and curved edges. In India, the device is available in two colours, Graphite (black/grey) and Soft Gold.

The display of One Plus 3 is 1920x1080p (FullHD) with optic AMOLED display, and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device is 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm (6.01 x 2.94 x 0.29 in) in dimension, weighing 158 g (5.57 oz). A fingerprint reader is provided in the front which is fast and accurate.
The One Plus 3 is equipped with a 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor with a 1.12 µm pixel size and an aperture of f/2.0. It is also OIS-enabled and has a single LED flash at its disposal. As for the front camera, it offers a respectable 8MP resolution, which surely provides nicely detailed photos. It can shoot videos in 720p, 1080p, or 2160p 4K videos all in 30fps.The OnePlus 3 boots the company's own Oxygen OS 3.1.2. It is built on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is as near-stock looking as possible. The OnePlus 3 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is not expandable.
